Il Sapore della Luna in Monteprandone, in the Province of Ascoli Piceno, one of the most appreciated wineries in the Marche Region, produces two excellent wines: the first one is a white "Pecorino" and it is called Spiagge; the second one is the red Brutale.
The Spiagge (DOCG) it is so called by the “contrada” where the winery is located and because the vineyard it is exposed at the East, overlooking the Adriatic Coast and enjoying the brezza that comes from the sea: a taste that one can find in the wine flavour.
The other one, the Brutale, is an excellent red wine. The name is due to the strong feelings our staff has felt the first time it tasted this wine. The meaning of the word “brutale” (in English “brutal, violent”) is not negative but positive: it is due to a pleasant sensation, strong and immediate, that can produce an “unexpected miracle”.
The ours are two among the typical wines of the Marche: the Spiagge and the Brutale are produced after a long production, whose workmanships are made according to traditions but using modern technologies.
